The Application Publication and Statistics (APS) site allows you to see 2026 Round program statistics, search for applications, and review public portions of applications, contention sets, and objections and appeals. The data on this site is updated to reflect the latest information available as each application moves through the Applicant Journey.
APS launches on Reveal Day and is updated on and after String Confirmation Day, as applications move through the applicant journey and application statuses and other information becomes available or changes. The sections below identify the full set of information that is planned to be accessible from APS when such information becomes available. Some resources listed on this page will not be accessible when this site launches on Reveal Day or when the website is updated on String Confirmation Day. Parts of the APS that currently have no data are inactive.
For definitions of the terminology, fields, and statistics published to the site, refer to the Application Publication and Statistics (APS) Website User Guide (coming soon).
Click here for the list of contention sets published on Reveal Day. This list will be updated on String Confirmation Day to reflect any changes to the list of contention sets resulting from the string replacement period.
The APS Contention Sets page will go live after String Evaluation and will be updated on a regular basis to reflect changes in contention set statuses.
The following 2026 Round statistics are available on the Statistics page on Reveal Day:
The statistics posted to APS on Reveal Day are updated on and after String Confirmation Day to reflect any changes resulting from the string replacement period or application processing.
On Reveal Day, the full list of applications is published. You can search and filter applications on the Applications page.
Applications with a designated replacement string will be listed as two application records (one application ID for the original applied-for string and one application ID for the replacement string) on the Applications tab, but will count as a single application on the Statistics tab. Replacement String applications are indicated with an -R after the original application ID.
The Application Details page includes available public information, such as Applicant Name and Applicant Location. Clarifying Questions, Objections, and other information become available as applications move through the New gTLD Program processing stages. The page includes a timestamp of when the page was last updated.
After the site launches on Reveal Day, it is updated again on String Confirmation Day to reflect any changes that are the result of the string replacement period or application processing, and with additional statistics.
On String Confirmation Day, the Statistics page is updated to include the following:
After String Confirmation Day, application records for strings that are not selected during the replacement period will have the status “Deactivated,” and Replacement String applications that were selected will have their Application Type updated from “Replacement String” to either “New gTLD” or “New gTLD with Variants”, as applicable.
Following String Confirmation Day, the website is updated regularly as applications move through the Applicant Journey. Check back frequently for the latest information about applications.
The following statistics are published to the Statistics page once they are publicly available, as described below.
Contention Set statistics are published after String Evaluation is complete.
Objections and appeals statistics are published after decisions have been issued.
Objections are submitted during the Community Input stage, which begins on String Confirmation Day. A list of objections and appeals, including links to the determination letters, will be published to the Objections and Appeals page.
The following information is not published on APS:
